# Can I bulk-update rates using a markup or markdown percentage?

Yes, you can apply a percentage increase or decrease across all items in a price list at once using the **All Products** price list type. To do this:

1.  Go to **Items** > **Price Lists** and click **+New Price List** (or open an existing one).
2.  Enter a **Name** for the price list.
3.  Under **Price List Type**, select **All Products** — this lets you mark up or mark down the rates of all products at once.
4.  Optionally, enter a **Description**.
5.  Set the **Percentage** - choose **Markup** or **Markdown** from the dropdown, then enter the percentage value.
6.  Set **Round Off To** if you want prices rounded to a specific value, or leave it as **Never mind**.
7.  Click **Save**.

To customise rates per product instead, select **Individual Products** under Price List Type.
