Use this feature when you are counting stock, correcting mismatches, or updating inventory after a physical verification. **Note:** Inventory Adjustments is available only when the location setting is enabled for your store. **Scenario:** Patricia runs a fashion store with both a warehouse and a retail outlet. During a physical count, she notices that the recorded quantity of a product is higher than the actual stock in hand. She uses Inventory Adjustments to record the difference and align the quantity in Zoho Commerce with the real stock available at the selected location. ## Common Adjustment Reasons Inventory adjustments are typically used for changes such as: * Physical stock counting * Inventory revaluation * Correcting damaged or missing items * Updating stock after a warehouse or store count Use inventory adjustments whenever you need to keep your available product quantity aligned with what is actually in stock. ## Create an Inventory Adjustment To create a new inventory adjustment: * Go to **Items** in the left sidebar. * Click **Inventory Adjustments**. * Click **\+ New**. * Enter a **Reference Number** for the adjustment. * Select the **Location** where the stock change applies. * Add a short **Description** to explain the reason for the adjustment. * Add the items to be adjusted. You can add items individually or in bulk. Use the **Add New Row** or **Add Items in Bulk** options to include the items. * When you click **Add Items in Bulk**, _Add Items in Bulk_ window opens, where you can select multiple items from the list. * You can also apply category filter to narrow down the list of items. After selecting the items, click **Add Items** to include them in the adjustment. * For each item, update the **New Quantity on Hand** value. * Click **Convert to Adjusted** to save the final change, or **Save as Draft** if you want to complete it later. The system automatically calculates the **Quantity Adjusted** based on the difference between the current quantity and the new quantity on hand. If the new quantity is lower than the current value, the adjustment appears as a negative value. ## Details Page Options In the inventory adjustment details page, you can use the options available in the top bar to manage the adjustment. * **Edit**: Update the reference number, location, description, or item quantities. * **PDF/Print**: Download or print the adjustment record in a printable format. * **Convert to Adjusted**: Apply the final stock update and mark the adjustment as adjusted. * **Show PDF View**: Preview the adjustment in a PDF-style view before printing or sharing it. * **More Options**: Access additional actions such as **Clone** and **Delete**. Choose one of the available actions: * **Clone**: Create a copy of the adjustment so you can reuse the same details for a similar stock correction. * **Delete**: Remove the adjustment permanently from the list. Use these options to review, print, finalize, or manage the adjustment record from a single page. ## More Options From the inventory adjustments list page, you can access additional actions from the **More Options** menu in the top-right corner. You can use these options to manage the inventory adjustments more efficiently. * **Sort by**: Arrange the inventory adjustments using the available sorting options such as **Date**, **Reason**, **Created Time**, **Last Modified Time**. * **Import**: Import inventory adjustments into Zoho Commerce. * **Export Inventory Adjustments**: Export inventory adjustment records from Zoho Commerce. * **Refresh List**: Refresh the list to view the latest inventory adjustment records. ## Bulk Actions The Inventory Adjustments list supports bulk actions for managing multiple adjustments at once. * Select the adjustment records you want to update. * Click **Convert to Adjusted** to apply the stock changes for the selected entries. * Click **Delete** to remove the selected adjustments from the list.
