Troubleshooting Android notifications

In a few instances, certain Android devices or third-party apps may block Cliq from sending and receiving notifications. Following are the most common troubleshooting tips to resolve this issue. General Troubleshooting

  • In Cliq app
    1. In your Cliq app, open Home -> Settings -> Notifications.
    2. Enable Sound under In-App Notifications.
    3. Ensure Do Not Disturb (DND mode) is turned off. 
       
  • Android version 7+
    1. Open phone Settings -> Apps.
    2. Find and tap on Cliq.
    3. Select Battery -> Battery Optimization.
    4. In here, change Apps not optimized to All apps.
    5. Look for Cliq and set to Don't optimize.
       
  • Android version 9
    1. Open phone Settings.
    2. Select Battery -> Adaptive Battery.
    3. Tap on Restricted apps, and make sure Cliq is not listed.
