Creating Coupons

With coupons, you can offer promotional discounts to customers and control how and where they are applied. Create coupons with percentage-based or flat amount discounts and associate them with payment pages for use during checkout.

To create a coupon:

• Go to the Coupons module.
• Click + New Coupon in the top-right corner of the page.
• Enter the following details on the coupon creation page:
  • Coupon Name
  • Coupon Code: Specify the code that your customers can utilize to redeem.
  • Discount: Choose either of the following:
    • Percentage: Enter the percentage you want to offer as discount.
    • Flat Amount: Enter the fixed amount you want to offer as a discount.

• Choose the Redemption Type:
  • One-time: The coupon can be redeemed only once.
    • For one-time payments: Applies to a single transaction.
    • For recurring payments: Applies only to the first payment.
  • Forever: The coupon can be redeemed without limit.
    • For one-time payments: Applies to a single transaction.
    • For recurring payments: Applies to all successive payments.
  • Limited Number of Times: The coupon applies for a specific number of billing cycles.
    • For one-time payments: Applies to a single transaction.
    • For recurring payments: Applies until the specified number of cycles is complete.
• Valid Up To: Specify the date until which the coupon is valid.
• Maximum Redemption: Specify the maximum number of times the coupon can be redeemed.
• Click Save.

A new coupon will be created. This can be applied to transactions.

Associate Coupons with Payment Pages

You can create multiple coupons and associate them with your payment pages in two stages:

During Payment Page Creation

Associate coupons while creating a new payment page to make them available to customers during checkout. To do so:

• Go to the Payment Pages module and create a new payment page.
• Go to Advanced Setup and navigate to the Advanced Settings section.
• Link the coupons you have configured below Associate Coupons.
• Click Save & Publish.

The coupons will now be associated with the payment page.

Updating an Existing Payment Page

Edit an existing payment page to associate coupons with it. To do so:

• Go to the Payment Pages module.
• Select the Payment Page you wish to modify and click the Edit icon in the top-right corner.
• Go to Advanced Setup and navigate to the Advanced Settings section.
• Link the coupons you have configured under Associate Coupons.
• Click Save & Publish.

The selected coupons will now be associated with the payment page.
