The company

Arctic Spas, based in Thorsby, Alberta, Canada, manufactures, sells, and has an internal technical support team for spas. Before switching to Zoho CRM, Arctic Spas' prior CRM solutions were tedious, cumbersome, and frustrating. Since adopting Zoho CRM, Arctic Spas has also picked up other Zoho apps along the way and has a multitude of integrations, extensions, and API's within the environment. Introducing Canvas

As Zoho rolls out Canvas to make CRM even more customizable than before, Arctic Spas is finding new places in their processes that they can cut out unnecessary work. Previously, they had trouble ensuring the most relevant information was where it needed to be. But now, Sigvaldason said, "It's simple to navigate and easy to find anything in seconds. With the ability to literally customize where everything is and even create tabs, it makes life a lot easier for all my users." With Canvas, users can edit records so that the most relevant information is the most easily accessible. "Really it comes down to convenience. Having different sections makes it so much easier to navigate records," said Sigvaldason.

Benefits and ROI

Arctic Spas operates largely through a network of dealers that sell their spas, and a common roadblock was the amount of time it took to approve new dealers. So, the first process Sigvaldason set to restructuring with Canvas was the approval process for new dealers. When a new dealer gets added to the CRM, they fill out a form which then goes through a multi-step approval process.

With Canvas, I'm able to create a tab just for approvals and it makes the process so much simpler. Now our approvals process is 90% faster than it used to be.

Looking ahead

This is just the first of many processes Sigvaldason is looking to streamline with Canvas, they've also started to use it for tracking job applicants. "Canvas puts Zoho ahead of other CRM solutions because it's completely customizable," he said. It gives them new opportunities to reassess each part of their workflow and find time they didn't know was available to them. "We're gonna be much more productive as people can see all of their information quickly in one place," said Sigvaldason. Now that dealer approvals and hiring has been simplified, Arctic Spas can look forward to continuing to optimize key processes and focusing their time on where it really matters.
