Purchase Orders Preferences
To configure preferences for the Purchase Orders module:
- Go to Settings on the top right corner of the page.
- Select Purchase Orders under Purchases.

From this page, you can configure the following preferences for your purchase orders:
When do you want your Purchase Orders to be closed?
Choose when your purchase orders should be marked as closed:
- When a Purchase Receive is recorded: The purchase order will be closed when a purchase receive is recorded against it.
- When a Bill is created: The purchase order will be closed when a bill is created against it.
- When Receives and Bills are recorded: The purchase order will be closed when both purchase receives and bills are recorded against it.
Terms & Conditions
Enter the Terms and Conditions of your business to be displayed in your purchase orders.
Notes
Enter any notes of your business that you want to display in your purchase orders.
Approvals
You can configure approvals for purchase orders. You can choose from No Approval, Simple, Multi-Level, and Custom Approval types based on your business requirements. Learn more about Approvals.
Fields
You can create new fields for the Purchase Orders module and assign different data types for each of them. Learn more about Fields.
Validation Rules
You can create rules to set restrictions on the data being recorded. Learn more about Validation Rules.
Buttons
You can create new buttons in the Purchase Orders module that either execute actions using deluge scripts or open external URLs when clicked. Learn more about Buttons.
