# Export Transactions in Factur-X Format

Factur-X is a standard for e-invoicing in France that embeds an XML file within a PDF/A-3 document. This hybrid format ensures the invoice is both human-readable and machine-readable, making it easy for people to read while also allowing automated processing.

**Note:** This feature is available only if the Organization Location is set to **France**.

## Export Transactions

You can export invoices and credit notes in Factur-X format in Zoho Books. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Invoices** or **Credit Notes** under _Sales_ on the left sidebar.
*   Select the transaction that you want to export.
*   Click _PDF/Print_ and select **Factur-X** from the dropdown.

The transaction will be exported in the Factur-X format.
