Adding to Writer’s list of quick formatting tools, here are two more to further help you save time and increase efficiency.
Here’s everything that’s new:
1. Set your style, after style, after style…
Save time by telling Writer what style to follow after your current paragraph or heading. Once you’ve set the desired styles, all you have to do is press Enter and Writer will automatically apply the next style. You can also save these styles as a new design and use them across your documents.
For instance, if you want a bold Open Sans Title style to be followed by a Roboto Subtitle style, then you would select Subtitle as the Next Paragraph Style for the Title in your document.
2. Organization Design gallery
We have Organization Templates, now say hello to Organization Designs. Just as an organization’s logo represents their unique brand, so do the formatting and design styles they use for all company documents.
With the new Organization Design gallery, admins can upload their company’s custom styles to a gallery that’s easily accessible to everyone in the organization. This helps save time in the design and formatting stages, and also helps ensure consistency in your company’s materials.
