Zoho for iPhone - Redesigned

We just rolled out a new design for Zoho on iPhone. You can play with it @ mobile.zoho.com (or iZoho.com). The new design introduces a tabbed interface for navigation between Zoho Apps. Currently, Zoho Writer, Sheet, Show & Creator are supported in this new interface. We plan to add more apps and more functionality to this new version.

Once you login, the Zoho tab shows the recent 5 documents from each Zoho app. You’ll be able to view your personal and shared documents under the respective application tabs.

We are looking forward to your feedback on this new redesign.

  19. Hello Zoho users, this is a question for both the Zoho staff and current zoho users..... would you find it beneficial to have a iPhone native app to access zoho apps, as i use zoho crm and it does not have access yet! VerticalCurve is a technology development company which has the capabilities to design and build the zoho iPhone app if zoho is interested. Zoho, if you are in need of a iPhone developer, you have one with us!!! would be very interested in talking with you about developing an app for Zoho... please either respond on this blog or email me at preston@verticalcurve.com thanks everyone...if you feel that an app for the iPhone is important please post to that effect and maybe Zoho will look us up and we can get an app in a timely manner!!!!

  25. Hello all,
wanted to comment in response to the Zoho CRM becoming available in iZoho- when this feature goes live will it be from the browser or are there plans to make a CRM app similar to salesforce and others, as i really would love to use the CRM on the go, but from the browser is a bit finiky, so wanted to see if a standalone app was in the making

  29. Hi we really want to use this for our business, but due the nature of such we desperately need IMAP capability on iPhone and Blackberry. We are wasting so much time going back and forth between 3 different programs just because google has IMAP. Thanks, I can't wait to use ZOHO :)

  31. @ milospavlovicOur current mobile website doesn't support the Nokia native browser. We'll be updating our website shortly (in a few days time) with a thin html version of our service interfaces which should render well in the same.Sathish Rajagopalan

  43. This also makes a good sidebar panel for Opera which is handy for a quick review of documents. Not able to edit writer documents, though.

  47. Do you know why this does not work well in the Nokia webkit browser?Since Safari and Nokia browser is based on Webkit, I have found that most of the iPhone versions of web apps work well in Nokia. E.g.:- I use Google reader iPhone version in my Nokia browser. Works smoothly ... For some reason, iZoho does not work well. Any ideas?

  49. @Chuck, We started with iPhone. Windows Mobile will follow.@James, We plan to add support from Blackberry too.Given the current state of the market, all the smart devices are transitioning to full-featured browsers. This is good for online apps like Zoho. Any effort we put in during this transition stage may not go far. We are hoping that mobile devices will support full-fledged browsers soon so e can maintain consistency across all mobile devices with little effort. Hopefully we'll get there soon.

  51. iPhone is nice, but the corporate world revolves on Blackberry. If Zoho hopes to compete with Microsoft in corporate America...the Blackberry users are important!
