Zoho Creator: Apps for Sales and Time Management

We recently wrote about how Prof. Prithwis Mukerjee uses Zoho. One of his students, Aditya Zutshi, has created an 'Order to Cash' application in Zoho Creator. He also has a neat help tutorial (both a document & a video) to go with it. Aditya's application helps sales representatives - who can access Zoho Creator on their mobiles - to place orders when they are meeting their clients. The Zoho Creator app that Aditya designed has good workflow rules. Like, when an order is made, the app checks if there is enough inventory of the product(s) available, triggers an email if the stock is low etc. He explains it all in his blog:

We came across another application developed by R. Gordon Gutowski. Gordon has a time management system called The GoodDay Planner. Along with the paper-based planner, Gordon now has web versions of the GoodDay System built over Zoho Creator. GoodDay apps are available in the Zoho Marketplace.

If you are a developer reading this, do give Zoho Creator a try. If you have already developed such interesting apps using Zoho Creator, do let us know in the comments.

  3. I am intrigued by your good day planner demonstration and Zoho as a whole. I operate a mortgage business and attempting to learn how the integration could make my life easier. I do have a generous number of contact records come through my carlsbad homes website at carlsbadhomesforsalenow and I was wondering if there is some way to have that information directly port into the database and start on a campaign without me being involved in the process. I'm going to keep reading to see what I can find, but if you happen to know, any advice would be appreciated.
