How do I add placeholders to my template?

You can add a placeholder to your templates while creating a new template or while editing an existing one.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select WhatsApp under Integrations & Marketplace in the Extension and Developer Data pane.
  • Select any module under Message Templates.
  • Click + New Template or under More, click Edit to add placeholders to an existing template.
  • Click the dropdown next to Insert Placeholders and select the required ones.
