Churn Reports - Overview
The Churn reports in Zoho Billing give you insights into the number of subscriptions that have been cancelled, scheduled to cancel, or expired. These reports are particularly helpful to keep track of the list of subscriptions that your customers are canceling over a period of time, or being expired, along with the reasons.
Zoho Billing supports the following churn reports:
Under Risk
The Under Risk report in Zoho Billing displays a list of all subscriptions whose payments have failed, and are under dunning status.
You can also view the following important information for each subscription:
- Lifetime Value (LTV) - The total revenue each subscription has generated since it was first activated.
- Lifetime Duration (LTD) - The number of days since each subscription was first activated.
How is this report helpful for your business?
The Under Risk report allows you to view the list of subscriptions which are currently under dunning, along with the gateway error message and error code, which allows you to dive deep into the reasons for payment failure. This allows you to fix issues at the payment gateway end, your end, or follow up with the customer to fix their issues.
Scenario: Charles Stone, who works at the collections team at Zylker, wants to view a list of subscriptions which are currently under dunning management due to payment failures. He can view the Under Risk report in Zoho Billing to view the list of subscriptions which are under dunning. Based on this report, he can identify the reasons due to which the payment could not be successful, fix payment gateway errors and follow up with customers to ensure a smooth billing cycle.
Non Renewing Profiles
The Non Renewing Profiles report in Zoho Billing displays a list of all subscriptions which are scheduled to cancel.
Note: You can view the report only for future dates.
You can also view the following important information for each subscription:
- Lifetime Value (LTV) - The total revenue each subscription has generated since it was first activated.
- Lifetime Duration (LTD) - The number of days since each subscription was first activated.
You can also filter this report based on the Reason of subscription cancellation.

The Churned After Retries report in Zoho Billing shows a list of all subscriptions that were cancelled after dunning.

This lets you identify the error messages due to which the subscriptions’ payments failed. The Subscription Expiry report in Zoho Billing displays the list of all subscriptions that have expired or will expire after its lifecycle.
Note: You can view this report for the past date to find a list of subscriptions that have already expired. You can view this report in the future date to view the list of subscriptions that will expire in the date range.
