Zoho Bookings Extension
Zoho Bookings is an online appointment scheduling software that helps businesses manage schedules, accept online bookings, and automate appointment-related tasks. The Zoho Bookings extension for Zoho Billing lets you add your services and unpaid appointments as line items to invoices and share them with customers, so they can book appointments or make payments directly from the invoice email.
How the Extension Works
After you install the extension, you can add your Zoho Bookings services as line items to invoices in Zoho Billing. When you send an invoice, your customer receives an email that includes the services they requested and a booking URL for each service. Customers can click the booking URL to schedule an appointment at a time that works for them. You can also add unpaid appointments as line items to invoices and send them to customers for payment.

Installing the Extension
To install the Zoho Bookings extension:
- Go to Settings in the top-right corner.
- Click Marketplace under Integrations & Marketplace in the Extension and Developer Data pane.
- Search and select Zoho Bookings for Zoho Billing.
- Click Install at the top band.
- In the pop-up that appears:
- Verify your details in the Use of Personal Details section.
- Read and agree to the terms and conditions of your vendor and Zoho Marketplace.
- Click Install to proceed with the installation of the extension.
- On the following page, check the I agree to the Terms and Conditions of the integration, and authorize Zoho Bookings to access and process my data as needed option and click Next.
- To authorize the Zoho Bookings connection:
- Hover over Zoho Bookings and click Connect.
- Click Connect again on the following page.
- Review the data access required by the extension and click Accept. The connection will be authorized.
- To authorize the Zoho Billing connection:
- Hover over Zoho Billing and click Connect.
- Click Connect again on the following page.
- Review the data access required by the extension and click Accept. The connection will be authorized.
- Click Install Extension.
The extension will be installed and ready to use.
Sending Booking URLs to Customers
You can use the Zoho Bookings extension to add the services your company offers as line items to invoices in Zoho Billing. Here’s how:
- Go to Invoices under Sales.
- Click + New in the top-right corner.
- Click + Add New Row under the item table and select Add From Zoho Bookings.
- Go to the Services tab in the pop-up.
- Select the services you want to add and click Add to Invoice.
- Enter the other required details.
- Click Save as Draft to save the invoice for later, or click Save and Send to send it to your customer immediately.
Your customer will receive an email containing the invoice along with a booking URL for each service. They can click the URL to schedule an appointment at their preferred time.
Sending Unpaid Appointments to Customers
If a customer has booked appointments through Zoho Bookings but has not made a payment, you can add those appointments to an invoice and send it to them for payment. Here’s how:
- Go to Invoices under Sales.
- Click + New in the top-right corner.
- Select the Customer Name.
- Click + Add New Row under the item table and select Add From Zoho Bookings.
- Go to the Unpaid Appointments tab.
- Select the appointments you want to add and click Add to Invoice.
- Click Save as Draft to save the invoice for later, or click Save and Send to share it with your customer.
Your customer will receive the invoice and can complete their payment directly from the email.
Uninstalling the Extension
If you no longer need the Zoho Bookings extension, you can uninstall it. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings in the top-right corner.
- Click Marketplace under Integrations & Marketplace in the Extension and Developer Data pane.
- Switch to the Installed Extensions tab.
- Click View Details next to Zoho Bookings.
- Click Uninstall in the top-right corner.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Yes to confirm.
The Zoho Bookings extension will be uninstalled from your organization.
