# How do I change the field names in my invoice?

To change the field names which gets displayed on your invoice:

*   Click the **Gear** icon on the top right corner of the page.
*   Select **Templates**.
*   Hover your mouse over the template and click **Edit**.
*   Select the **Header** section to make changes to information displayed on top of the invoice.
*   Select the **Item Table** section to change information in the Item Details section.
*   Rename the fields of your choice.
*   Click **Save**.

> If you wish to avoid certain fields from being displayed on the invoice, uncheck them either in the **Header** or **Item Details** section.
