[Back](./) # How do I check if my customer has viewed an invoice? **Prerequisites** Before you can check if your customer has viewed an invoice, you will have to: * Enable **Customer Portal** for your organization and enable portal access to your customers. Read our help document on Customer Portal to learn how to [enable customer portal for your customers](https://www.zoho.com/in/books/help/customer-portal/#enable-customer-portal). * Enable **Email Insights** for your organization. Read our help document on Emails to learn how to [enable email insights for your organization](https://www.zoho.com/in/books/help/settings/emails.html#email-insights). To see the invoices that your customers viewed: * Go to the _Sales_ module on the left sidebar and select **Invoices**. * Click the **All Invoices** dropdown at the top and select the **Customer Viewed** filter. ![View customer viewed invoices](/books/kb/images/invoices/customer-viewed-invoices.png) The **Eye** icon will be displayed next to the invoice number in the invoice list page if your customer viewed the invoice from their portal. If your customer opens the email that you sent, the **Open Mail** icon will be displayed next to the invoice number in the invoices list page. * * *
