# While reconciling an account, I’m getting a “Please complete the reconciliation saved earlier to record another reconciliation.” error.

This error will occur if the previous reconciliation done for this account is via the _Save And Reconcile Later_ option. In order to reconcile the account, you need to complete that reconciliation first. Go to **Reconciliation History**. You could find the top most Reconciliation with the status **In-Progress**. Click on that reconciliation, cross check the reconciliation details and click on the **Reconcile** button.
