Can I add multiple values for a field in my transactions?

Yes, you can. Zoho Billing lets you create custom fields with the Multi-select Lookup data type, which pulls values from an existing module. This is useful when you want to associate multiple entries such as additional salespersons, contacts, or items with a transaction.

To create a Lookup custom field:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select the module (e.g., Invoices under Sales) where you want to add the field.
  • Click the Field Customization tab.
  • Click + New Custom Field.
  • Enter a name in the Label Name field.
  • Select Multi-select Lookup as the Data Type.
  • Choose the module you want the field to pull values from (e.g., Salesperson).
  • Click Save.

Once saved, the lookup field will appear when you create or edit a transaction in that module. You can select from the values available in the mapped module.
