# How do I customize the portal invitation mail content?

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner.
*   Click **Email Notifications** under _Reminders and Notifications_.
*   Select **Customer Portal Invitation** in the _Emails_ pane.
*   Click **Show Mail Content** next to template you want to customise.
*   Make the necessary changes. You can customise the email content by editing the existing text or adding placeholders for the subject and body of the email.
*   Click **Save**.
