# What if the customers/vendors to be imported contain duplicates?

If the customers/vendors to be imported contain duplicates, that is, the same customers/vendors already exist in your Zoho Books organisation, you can choose to either **Skip** or **Overwrite** them.

**Note:** Once you select the Overwrite option, all the values in the existing records will be replaced with the imported ones and cannot be restored.
