How do I allow partial payments on an invoice?

You can enable partial payments while creating an invoice, or for an existing invoice by editing it. Here’s how to do it for an existing invoice:

Go to Invoices under Sales and select the invoice.
Click Edit.
Check the option Allow customer to make partial payments for this invoice.
Click Save.

Once done, your customer can pay any amount of their choice through the customer portal or the invoice payment link.

Note: You can also enable partial payments for all invoices at the organization level from Settings > Billing Preferences under Subscriptions. Learn more
