Troubleshooting Grey Screen Issue

If grey screen is observed during a session in web client technician Console, follow the steps below in order:

  • Refresh the Browser
    Refresh the browser to reload the session.

  • Verify Network Connectivity
    Check network stats in the left panel session menu to ensure there is no high latency. High ping can impact session rendering.

  • Enable Graphics Acceleration
    Confirm that graphics acceleration is enabled in the browser settings. If it is disabled, enable it and retry the session.

  • Try an Alternate Browser
    Attempt to start the session using a different supported browser to rule out browser-specific issues.

  • Check System Resource Usage
    Verify that CPU and memory usage are not excessively high on both the Agent and Viewer machines, as resource constraints can cause display issues.
