Phasing out older TLS versions (1.0 and 1.1)

As a part of our continuous endeavor to make Zoho services safe, secure, and reliable to our customers, we are phasing out the support for TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 (very soon).

The specified TLS versions have security vulnerabilities and Zoho will no longer support these. All the HTTP requests with older TLS versions will fail in a few days.

1. What are the actions required from my end?

As a Zoho Analytics' user, you might be using any of the below services. You are requested to migrate to the latest versions as the older ones will get deprecated after a few days and could not be used anymore.

2.  I'm using the older version of the Zoho Analytics Upload Tool. How should I upgrade?

You can migrate from an older version to the latest version of an upload agent by following one of the below options:

Option 1 - Move to the latest version of the Upload Tool

Follow the below steps to move to the latest version of Upload Tool:

  1. Download the latest version of the Upload Tool from the below link.
    https://www.zoho.com/analytics/help/upload-tool.html#Download
  2. Unzip the downloaded file and reconfigure the upload tool. You can also copy the files in the <Old_Upload_Tool_Home>/conf/ folder and paste the same under the <New_Upload_Tool>/conf/ folder
  3. Start uploading your data using the new upload tool.

Option 2 - Change the java runtime environment of the Upload Tool

Follow the below steps to change the java runtime environment:

  1. Download the latest version of the Upload Tool from the below link.
    https://www.zoho.com/analytics/help/upload-tool.html#Download

  5. Start uploading your data using the old upload tool.

Option 3 - Migrate to Zoho Databridge

Zoho Analytics now has a next-generation upload agent, called  Zoho Databridge. Zoho Databridge is a lightweight independent utility that helps you to easily set up the import process, right from the Zoho Analytics interface.

To migrate to Zoho Databridge, please refer to Migration from Upload Tool to Zoho Databridge document.

For details on migrating to the Upload Tool, refer to Migrate to the New Upload Tool help document.

3. I'm using the older version of the Zoho Analytics Client Libraries. How should I upgrade?

If you are using the older version of the Zoho Analytics API client libraries offered for Java, C#, Python, PHP or Go, then upgrade to the latest versions. You can download the latest versions of the client libraries from this Download Zoho Analytics Client Libraries link.

4. I'm using Zoho Analytics APIs from my application environment. How should I upgrade?

If you are using Zoho Analytics APIs from your application environment, then you need to upgrade to the latest version of your application/programming language which supports TLS 1.2 or higher.

5. When should I migrate?

You need to migrate to the latest version as soon as possible. If you fail to migrate, then your import process will not work

If you have upgraded already and still receiving notifications to upgrade, please get in touch with our technical support at support@zohoanalytics.com. We will check the usage at our end and assist you accordingly.
