Connect via Zoho Key Services (ZKS)
Get access to managed API connections with Zoho's official partnerships with external LLM vendors. Choose from available providers to deploy models instantly within Zia Agents. While Zoho does not charge a platform fee for these connections, usage is billed as per the vendor's standard token rates. For your convenience, all bills are settled directly via Zoho Agent Wallet. ZKS currently supports OpenAI.

What's free? What's paid?
Zia Agents are free. Every Agent built, deployed, and managed within is free as well. However, pricing varies depending on the language model in use. If the Agent runs on Zoho-hosted LLMs, there are limits set based on the model you choose. If the Agent runs on external models like OpenAI, Gemini or Claude, you'll pay for the usage. Zia Agents for Zoho-as-a-Service remains free.
What are API keys?
Using API keys, you can open up a connection between Zia Agent Studio and external LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini. These keys are available for purchase from the vendor, akin to the pro versions of ChatGPT or Gemini. Once a connection is established, the Agents can use these models to carry out requests: writing emails, answering live chat, and more.
What if I already have an API key?
If you already have an API key, you can connect the language model with Zia Agent Studio for free, and get started. It's similar to integrating a Zoho app with a third-party app. Currently, we support language models from the following vendors: OpenAI | Gemini | Claude
Can I connect ChatGPT/Gemini directly?
Yes, you can still connect Zia Agent Studio with external LLMs through the Zoho Key System. We'll plug the language model into your organization's Zia Agent Studio account, and you'll be billed for your usage—at a 1:1 vendor rate.
What about API charges for the apps involved?
Zia Agents are used alongside various apps, such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, or other third-party applications. While creating and deploying AI agents with Zia Agent Studio is free, API access is restricted to the service subscription you have. Check your vendor's pricing to get more information on their API charges.
