General

The General settings page lets you configure Team Preferences, including who can access your team’s data through the Team module.

Note: This feature is currently in early access. Write to us at support@zohoexpense.com to enable it for your organization.

To access General settings:

  • Click the Admin View toggle.
  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  • Select General under Setup & Configurations.

Team Preferences

Team Preferences lets you enable the Team module for your organization and control who can access reportees’ trips, expense reports, and advances through it.

Enable Team

When the feature is enabled, users with access can view their reportee’s trips, expense reports, and advances.

To enable Team:

  • Click the Admin View toggle.
  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  • Select General under Setup & Configurations.
  • Turn on the Enable Team toggle under Team Preferences.
  • In the Manage Team Access pop-up, under Who can access team records?, choose one of the following options:
    • Reporting Managers — Any user with reportees can view their reportee’s data.
    • Only Specific Users & Roles — Only the users and roles you select can view reportee data.
      • If you chose Only Specific Users & Roles, select the required users or roles from the Select Users & Roles dropdown.

Note: You can update who has access later by clicking Manage Access next to Enable Team.

  • Click Save.

Notes:

  • A user must still have at least one reportee to view any data in the Team module, even if they’re granted access here.
  • Turning off Enable Team hides the Team module for all users in your organization, regardless of their individual access.
