Validation Rules

Validation Rules in Zoho Checkout ensure data accuracy by limiting what users can enter into specific fields. When a transaction is saved, the system evaluates the data against your set conditions. If an entry violates these rules, an alert appears and the transaction is prevented from saving. You can also combine multiple criteria within a single rule to support more complex requirements.

Scenario: Jim runs an online shoe store. He delivers across India, except for two specific districts due to logistical constraints. He has set up a validation rule so that when customers from those districts enter their PIN code, an alert appears informing them that delivery is unavailable in their area.
