Integrate Zoho Checkout with PayTabs
PayTabs is a secure online Payment Gateway that allows businesses to accept payments from customers using various local and international payment methods. It supports 168 currencies and is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certified and EMV 3D Secure 2.0 ready, ensuring safe transactions.
Scenario: Ahmed runs a consulting firm in the UAE and wants to collect one-time payments from clients across the Middle East. He integrates PayTabs with Zoho Checkout and creates a Payment Page for his consulting services. When a client enters their card details and clicks Pay Now, PayTabs securely processes the transaction and settles the funds into Ahmed’s bank account.
Notes:
- PayTabs is supported in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, and Global editions only.
- PayTabs supports only one-time payments.
Set Up PayTabs
To integrate PayTabs with Zoho Checkout:
- Go to Settings and select Payment Gateways.
- Click Configure near PayTabs.
- Enter the Profile ID, Server Key, and Country.
- Click Confirm to complete the setup.
Your account will now be integrated with PayTabs.
If you do not have the Profile ID and Server Key of your PayTabs account, you can get them by following the steps below:
- Log in to your PayTabs merchant account.
- Click Developers in the left sidebar.
- Select Configuration under Payment Notifications to add the IPN configuration details.
- Click + next to Payment Notifications.
- Copy the URL https://checkout.zoho.com/n/paytabs and paste it in the URL field.
- Select a type from the dropdown and click Add.
To generate a Server Key:
- Go to Key Management under API Keys and click the + icon.
- Give a title, select a type from the dropdown, and select the options.
- Click Add.
You can get the Profile ID from the Profile section on the left sidebar.
Associate PayTabs with Your Payment Page
Your customers can pay you through PayTabs if you’ve made it your organization’s default gateway or by associating it under Advanced Setup.
You can associate a Payment Gateway to your Payment Page in two ways:
During Payment Page Creation
- Go to the Payment Pages module and create a new Payment Page.
- Go to Advanced Setup and navigate to Associate Payment Gateways.
- Check PayTabs and click Save & Publish.
You will be able to collect customer payments through PayTabs.
Edit an Existing Payment Page
- Go to the Payment Pages module.
- Select the Payment Page you want to update and click the Edit icon in the top right corner.
- Go to Advanced Setup and navigate to Associate Payment Gateways.
- Check PayTabs and click Save & Publish.
PayTabs will be associated as a Payment Gateway for this Payment Page.
Note: If you have associated multiple gateways to your Payment Page, your organization’s default gateway will be used to collect customer payments.
Receive Payments from Customers
To make a payment via PayTabs, customers have to:
- Enter the required details on the Payment Page.
- Click the payment button (for example, Pay Now or Proceed to Pay).
- Choose a preferred payment mode and make the payment.
Once the payment is successful, you will receive an email notification regarding the payment made by your customer. The payment details can be viewed in the Payments module. The payment will be settled in your bank account during the next payout.
Manage PayTabs Integration
The various actions you can perform to manage this integration are:
Mark as Default
To mark PayTabs as the default Payment Gateway for your organization:
- Click the Settings icon and select Payment Gateways.
- Hover over PayTabs and select Mark as Default.
For all Payment Pages you create in Zoho Checkout, you will receive customer payments through PayTabs.
Edit the Integration
If you would like to change the bank account, enable or disable payment methods, or update your credentials, you can edit the settings.
To edit:
- Click the Settings icon and select Payment Gateways.
- Hover over PayTabs and select Edit.
- Make the necessary changes and select Confirm.
The integration settings will be updated.
Remove
When you no longer want to use PayTabs to receive payments, you can remove the integration. Here’s how:
- Click the Settings icon and select Payment Gateways.
- Select Remove below PayTabs.
- In the pop-up, click Yes to confirm.
The integration will be removed.
