How do I configure multiple currencies for a customer/vendor?

If your customer/vendor operates from multiple business locations, and you transact with that customer/vendor in different currencies, you can configure multiple currencies for the customer using the Multi-currency Transactions for Each Contact feature.

Note: This feature is available only for certain plans of Zoho Books. Visit the pricing page to check if it’s available in your current plan.

To enable the Multi-currency Transactions for Each Contact feature:

  • Go to *Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Customers and Vendors under Preferences.
  • Click the toggle Multi-currency Transactions for Each Contact.
  • Click Save.

After enabling the feature, you can create sales and purchase transactions in multiple currencies. For instance, you can change the currency of an invoice, bill, expense etc.
