How can you calculate VAT with this tool?

With this free UAE VAT calculator, you can determine the tax effortlessly in just a few steps:
  • Enter the price of the goods or services in the Amount field.
  • Enter the percentage of VAT (standard rate in UAE is 5%) in the VAT % field.
  • Choose whether the price you entered is inclusive or exclusive of VAT using the Tax option.
  • If the price entered is inclusive of tax, the tool automatically calculates and displays the net price after removing VAT.
  • If the price entered is exclusive of VAT, the tool automatically calculates and displays the gross price after adding VAT.

What is VAT in UAE?

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a consumption tax applied on most goods and services at each stage of supply. It was introduced in the United Arab Emirates on 1 January 2018 to diversify government revenue and align with international standards. VAT is charged at a fixed rate of 5% unless exemptions apply.
