Marking a candidate as a "Hot Candidate" is the best way to tag active candidates. This helps you to organize all active candidates and improves your hit rates, while contacting the candidate for hiring process. Similarly you can tag Job openings that need to worked on top priority.

To mark hot candidates:

1. Go to Candidates tab.
2. In the List view, enable the check-boxes of the candidates who needs to be tagged.
3. Click on Mark as Hot link from Select Options menu.
   The selected candidates will be marked as active candidates.

Note: Similarly, you can tag Job openings that need to worked on top priority.
