How can I create an email trigger to intimate a recruiter when a candidate registers his details?
To trigger an email alert to the recruiter when any candidate registers, follow the steps given below.
Go to the Settings module.
On the right panel, click on Email alerts.
Click on Add email alerts.
Select the Candidates module.
The following form is displayed.
Enter a name for this email alert in the Email alert name box.
Select the Trigger Criteria as "On candidate registration".
Select the From email address.
Under the To option select the email ID of the respective recruiter from list of email IDs displayed (the recruiter must be a registered user on your company account).
Enter a Subject for the email alert.
You can use the Merge fields option when composing the email message to personalize it. Also, you can check the Attach Resume checkbox to add the candidate's resume as an attachment. A sample of the filled form is shown below. Once you complete filling the form, click on Create email alert.
The created email alert is now displayed under the Candidates module. You can view or edit the email alert from this screen. There are also options to delete or disable the alert.
