How can I create an email trigger to acknowledge a candidate's job application?
To trigger an email alert when a candidate applies for a job opening, follow the steps given below.
Go to the Settings module.
On the right panel, click on Email alerts.
Click on Add email alerts.
Select the Candidates module.
The following form is displayed.
Enter a name for this email alert in the Email alert name box.
Select the Trigger Criteria as "On candidate applying for a job".
Select the From email address.
Under the To option select "Email ID field in candidate".
Enter a Subject for the email alert.
While composing the email, you can use the Merge fields option to personalize the email for each candidate. A sample of the filled form is shown below. Once you complete filling the form, click on Create email alert.
The created email alert is now displayed under the Candidates module. You can view or edit the email alert from this screen. There are also options to delete or disable the alert.
