In the candidate list page, all the candidates will be listed. When you change the status in the candidate list page, it will change only the candidate status and not the candidate status with respect to the job opening.  To avoid this confusion, we have provided change status in two different approach. This is available only in paid edition

Note: Only Recruiter Admin and Recruiter will have access to do a bulk update

Approach 1: To change candidates recent status (i.e., the candidate not associated with any job openings)

1. Click Candidates tab.
   
2. In the candidate list page, select Unassociated candidate from View candidate for associated job openings drop-down list, which is located at the right-panel.
   
3. Now it will list all the candidates who are not associated with any job openings.
4. Select the candidates and click Select Actions -> Change status. 
   
5. Select a candidate status from Change status drop-down list and click Update.
   
   

Approach 2: Change candidates status with respect to the job opening

1. Click Candidates tab.
   
2. In the candidate list page, select the job opening from View candidate for associated job openings drop-down list, which is located at the right-panel.
   
3. Now it will list all the candidates who are associated with the selected job opening.
4. Select the candidates and click Select Actions -> Change status. 
   
5. Select a candidate status (with respect to the job opening) from Change status drop-down list and click Update.
