Zoho Projects already lets users with Google Apps assign tasks and create new projects from Gmail and now we’re taking it one step further. Once you enable Google Task sync, tasks that you create in either Zoho Projects or Google Tasks will stay in sync with task name and descriptions.
1 : You need to grant access for Zoho Projects in your Google Apps domain. For this login into your Gmail and click Manage this domain link.
2 : Here find and click Zoho Projects under Google Apps Marketplace section on the Dashboard.
3 : This redirects to Grant access privileges page. Here click Grant data access link. This enables required privileges for your Google Apps domain.
4 : Click My Tasks from My Home Tab. You can choose a task or entire tasklist to export to your google tasks account. Now click Export to Google Tasks.
5 : This opens the Export Google tasks page select set of tasks that are new in Zoho projects and needs to be pushed to google tasks then you need to use Export option.
6 : After export, you can start doing the changes to the exported tasks like modify, complete etc., in the google tasks popout window of your Gmail.
7 : Click New Task link. Type a task and select Add to Google Tasks automatically adds this task in your Google Tasks.
8 : If you have done some changes (modified/completed) the task in google tasks and want to update the changes in Zoho Projects then you need to use Sync to Google Tasks option. The changes (modified/completed) done to the tasks exported in Google tasks can be pushed to Zoho Projects by using this option.
9 : Click Sync from Google Tasks option exports tasks modified/completed/reopened in Google Tasks gets updated in Zoho Projects. A task which is newly added under exported tasklist can also be added to Zoho Projects.
