List View

Bugs List View provides bugs as a list based on the selected status of bugs available in Predefined Views or Custom Views

Predefined Views, displays the same information about bugs in different perspectives, based on your requirement such as All Bugs, Not Assigned, Overdue Bugs and Bugs from Zoho Support and so on.

Custom Views, displays the bug information available in the custom views that you have created. You can create custom views for bugs based on your choice of criteria and privileges.

In List View you can:

To add, edit and delete bugs from List View refer, Manage Bugs.

The various predefined views in bugtracker are categorized as follows:

All Bugs : All Bugs for the selected project are displayed.

All Open : Bugs that are only in Open status are displayed for the selected project.

All Closed: Bugs that are only in Closed status are displayed for the selected project.

My Open : Bugs that are only in Open status and assigned to you across projects are displayed.

My Closed : Bugs that are only in Closed status and assigned to you across projects are displayed.

Not Assigned: All Bugs that are yet to be assigned to an owner are displayed.

Overdue Bugs: Bugs that have missed the due date are displayed.

Created Today: Bug that are created today by all the project stakeholders are displayed.

Bugs from Zoho Support: Bugs that are filed from Zoho Support are displayed. Zoho Support must be integrated with Zoho BugTracker to view bugs in Bugs from Zoho Support.

List View

  1. In the HOME section, click Projects.
  2. In the Projects list view, select the desired project.
  3. Hover the mouse over Bugs and click Bugs.
  4. In List View choose Predefined Views or Custom Views.

Export Bugs

  1. In List View, click Export.
  2. Select Group By and Format.
  3. If required, select Export with description.
  4. Click Export to export the bugs.

The bugs are exported in xls or csv format. When you select Export with description, the bugs are exported with their description.

Import Bugs

  1. In List View, click Import. Import-bug
  2. Click Choose File and select the file to import into bug tracker.
  3. Click Continue.

  4. In Import Bugs Wizard, in the Default Fields tab, map List of fields in bugtracker and Columns in CSV file.
    • A warning message is prompted, if you select the same column value for more than one field.

  5. In Custom Fields, select the desired fields.
  6. In Select date Format, select the desired date format.
  7. Click Continue to confirm the file import.

  8. Click Import to import the file.
Note:
  • The imported bugs are displayed in the List View. A notification is also mailed to your inbox about the bug import.
  • You can import files only in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.

Customize Columns

You can customize columns in the bugs List View. You can choose columns as desired to be displayed in the bugs List View based on your preference.

  1. In List View, click Customize Column.
  2. Select Default View or Compact View.
    • In Default View, the list of bugs are few whereas in Compact View, you can view many bugs.

  3. Select the desired columns to view.
    • You can also clear the columns that are already selected, if you do not wish to view them in the bugs List View.
  4. The selected columns are displayed in the bugs List View.

You can expand and collapse the bugs view. The expanded or collapsed view is saved even after you navigate to another view and come back to this screen.

Sort Bugs

In the bugs List View, you can sort bugs based on their Created, Modified and Due dates. You must click the arrow in the selected column to sort the bugs in Ascending or Descending order.

Update bugs

You can update bug details for multiple bugs.

  1. In List View, select a bug to enable the Update option.

  2. Select the Update check box to update all the bugs.
    • You can also choose to update selected bug(s).
  3. Choose the desired option in Update, to update the bug(s) details.

Create Custom View

You can create a new view based on any criteria to display your bug data. You can create many custom views as required, to view your bugs.

  1. In List View, click Create New View in Custom Views.
  2. In Criteria, set up the desired criteria to create the custom view.
    • You can click More criteria to add more than one criteria.

  3. Specify other details to create the custom view.
  4. Click Save to save the custom view.

Edit Custom View

In List View, hover the mouse over the selected custom view and click Edit Custom View to edit the custom view.

Delete Custom View

In List View, hover the mouse over the selected custom view and click Delete Custom View to delete the created custom view.

My Bugs

In My Bugs view, you can view bugs that are assigned to you as well as the bugs created by you across projects. You can filter bugs view based on Project, User and Time & Status. In addition, in this view, you can only submit, edit and add comments to bugs.
