1. What is Zoho Projects?

Zoho Projects goes beyond the traditional project management space. Of course it also offers great planning and reporting capabilities, but Zoho Projects is better because it is ′social′.

For example, Zoho Projects allows users to post their working status and allows project members to chat with each other. The Project Stream helps all the team members get instant updates about what’s going on with the project. And you can keep all content organized and accessible by centrally posting files and easily creating a project web page or documentation.

2. How do I get started with Zoho Projects?

You can get started by clicking on the Sign Up Free - Unlimited Users in the login page by filling in some basic information like e-mail address to create your Zoho Projects account.

3. What browsers does Zoho Projects support ?

Zoho Projects supports different browsers like Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari and Opera.

4. What languages is Zoho Projects available in?

Zoho Projects supports 16 different languages like Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English(US), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese(Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

5. How can I change the Portal URL?

The Portal URL can be changed only by portal administrator.

To change the portal URL :

1. Click on Settings link and this will open up General Settings (by default)
2. Now click on Company Profile tab and select Portal Url Change link
3. In this typein the URL name you wish have and click on Change Url icon.

Your new portal name will get displayed for your portal.

Note: No special characters allowed in portal URL.

6. Is it possible to have multiple administrators for a project?

Yes. There can be multiple administrators for a project.

To add another user as administrator :

1. Click "Settings" link on the top right of the window
2. In this click "people view" tab now click on "edit icon" for the required user and select Administrator role.

7. Do the archived projects count against my number of project for billing purposes ?

Only the Active projects in a portal are taken into account for the total allowed projects and not the archived projects.

8. How to change my e-mail address in Zoho Projects ?

To change the email address :

1. Login into accounts.zoho.com
2. Click 'My Email IDs' option on the left side menu
3. In this click 'Edit' option to the right of the email id and change the email id.

9. Can I change the portal owner in Zoho Projects ?

Yes. You need to be an administrator to change the portal owner

To change the portal owner :

1. Go to Settings Tab and click on the Company Profile tab
2. In this select the new portal owner and click on Change Portal Owner icon
3. This will update the new portal owner.

Note : Portal Owner change is available as part of all paid plans and not in the Free plan
