Calendar Settings

Purpose

Zoho People allows you to configure the calendar settings based on your location. You can configure the calendar settings either globally for all locations or only for a specific location

Week definition

It allows you to define your weekdays based on your work week starting and ending dates.

To configure Week definition:

  1. Login as Administrator.
  2. Click Setup > Calendar & Holiday Settings.
  3. Click the drop-down list to select the day the Week starts on, Work week starts on, Work week ends on.
  4. Click Update.

Weekend definition

It allows you to define your weekends. For example, if your organization doesn't work on saturday and sunday, you can define it by editing the weekend definition.

To configure Weekend definition:

  1. Login as Administrator.
  2. Click Setup > Calendar & Holiday Settings.
  3. Click the Applicable for drop-down list to select the location.
  4. Click Edit on Weekend definition.
  5. Click to give a check mark on the weeks as shown in the below image.
  6. Click Update.

Calendar year settings

It lets you to define your calendar year settings. You can either choose the current year as Jan-Dec or define the calendar year.

To configure calendar year settings:

  1. Login as Administrator.
  2. Click Setup > Calendar & Holiday Settings.
  3. Select Current year or Year starts from and ends at options.
  4. Click Update.
