Steps to configure in Windows 7 Mobile

  1. To begin with, you need to enable IMAP Access of your account.
  2. Log in to Zoho Mail and Enable IMAP in the Zoho Mail Settings page. Save the Settings.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ >> ‘Email Accounts’ from your Phone Main Menu
  4. Select "Add New Account >> ‘Advanced Setup'.
  5. Provide your 'complete Email Address' (username@zoho.com for zoho accounts, username@domain.com for domain based accounts) and Password and click Next.
  6. In the next screen, select Internet email account
  7. Provide the following details in the next screen
    1. Account name - Choose a name for this account in your device
    2. Your Name - Specify the display name for your Outgoing Emails
    3. Incoming email server - Specify 'imap.zoho.com:993'
    4. Account Type - Choose IMAP4 from the list
    5. User Name - Provide the complete email address (username@zoho.com for zoho accounts, username@domain.com for Zoho Hosted accounts)
    6. Password - Provide your Zoho Account Password
    7. Outgoing(SMTP) email server - Specify 'smtp.zoho.com:465'
    8. Click Advanced Settings
      • Ensure that the check-box 'Require SSL for Incoming email' is ticked
      • Ensure that the check-box 'Require SSL for Outgoing email' is also ticked
      • Download Email From - Select 'any time' to sync messages without any issues.

        Note:

        • Selecting the other options may result in error during account syncing
  8. Click 'Sign In' to create account and start syncing.
  9. The Account will be setup and it will start syncing with your Zoho Mail Account.
