Configuring LiveDesk to your Zoho Site template

There are two ways to add LiveDesk code snippets to your website, based on the purpose of the widget.

Embedding the Live Chat widget to a specific page

  • Login to your Zoho Site admin console.
  • Select the page where you would like to have your chat widget.
  • Click on the "Embed" widget

  • Now select "Code Snippet" on the left.
  • Paste the LiveDesk chat widget in the space provided.
  • Publish and get the feel of live chat in your website.

Embedding the LiveDesk chat widget on all your site pages

To display the LiveDesk on all the pages of your Zoho site you have embed the chat widget to the header or footer of the site.

  • Login to your Zoho Site admin console.
  • Got to "Manage" options and select settings.

  • Select "Header and Footer Code" from the list of options on the left.
  • Paste your LiveDesk code either in Header or Footer section.
  • Save the changes.
  • Publish your website for the code to be updated.

Getting LiveDesk Code Snippet

  • Login to your LiveDesk Operator console.
  • Click "Settings".
  • In the "Web Embed" section, click on the name of the Embed you are attempting to include in a page.
  • Scroll down to the "Button Appearance" section and choose the "Float window".
  • Select the code snippet below and copy.
