The Settings page provides a place to configure preferences that suit your business and choose options that speed up invoice processing. You can specify details about your organization here, manage currencies in which you raise invoices, add taxes that you collect and add templates that decide the look and feel of your invoices.

You can use the Estimate Notification template to personalize the message sent to the customer when the estimates are emailed. Once the message is changed in the notification template, it becomes a standard for all future estimate notifications. To personalize your estimate notification, follow the steps below:

Estimate Notification

  1. Go to the 'Settings' tab.
  2. Select the 'Email' sub-link. This opens the 'Email Settings' page.
  3. Click on the 'Estimate Notification' link as shown in the image below.

Here, you can find the template for the message to be sent when the estimates are emailed to the customer. A default template is provided where you can modify it according to your preference.

Edit the Estimate Notification Template

Subject This would be the subject of the e-mail that would be sent to your customer.
Message You can edit the default message to fit your needs. Also, you can make use of the placeholders to add additional information to the message. A placeholder in a template is a filler text surrounding the actual value it represents by a % sign. To make use of a placeholder in your text, just position the cursor at the position at which you would like the placeholders value to be shown and click on the placeholder. A default template is provided where you can modify it according to your preference. The placeholder "OnlinePaymentURL" will provide a link to the online payment page. When the particular link is clicked, your customer will be directed to the online payment gateway (PayPal/ Authorize.net/ Google Checkout) selected at the time of creating the invoice.

Payment Thank-You note can be automatically emailed to your customer when they make online payments. You can configure it to look like a receipt as well. Edit the message text using the correct placeholders found on the right hand side of the page.

You can now send all the transactions done with your customers for a specific period in a PDF file. A standard template is available for the email content when you attach your customer transacation PDF. To personalize the message content in the email and to set it as a template, follow the steps below:

Whenever you send an invite to a user, a welcome email is sent notifying the user about the invitation. To personalize the email content for the user invite, follow the steps below:

Have a personalized signature for all the outgoing emails and notifications. Follow the steps below to set up a template:
