Even with all of our online collaboration tools, email attachments will never go away.
But recent improvements in Zoho Mail -including some made just last night!- make it even easier to deal with email attachments.

Keep attachments online, in Zoho Docs
You can now save attachments that you get on email directly into Zoho Docs. This makes it dead simple to keep all your files in a central place. Just click on the “Add to Docs” link

within your mail view and you’ll get a window where you can choose your Zoho Docs folder where you want to save this file.

Send attachment directly from Zoho Docs (and Google Docs too!)
Of course, the reverse also makes sense. In Zoho Docs, you can send an email attachment straight from your Zoho Docs folders or your Google Docs account. No need to go through your desktop for downloading or uploading attachments. Ain’t that great?

Download all attachments as a ZIP
Sometimes you get multiple files in an email, and you have to download each and everyone of them. You can choose to download all of your files, as a packaged/compress ZIP file with just one click.

Get your attachments directly from your email list view
How many times are you going back to your old mail to just download or view an attachment? You can do that without having to open the e-mail. Just click on the attachment icon in the email list view and you’ll get a nice little window to open, save or download your attachment(s). One less click here, one less click there…

Viewing Attachments
For those file formats supported by Zoho Writer / Sheet / Show, you can even view your e-mail attachments right there in Zoho Mail (there’s no need to switch to another browser tab or window). 

And finally, one of my favorite “hidden” features of Zoho Mail that not many people know about. Zoho Mail has a powerful search option that even searches within your attachments. By default, you search across the “Entire message” (including attachments). But you can also choose to search only the attachment name, or search just the attachment content.

So if you haven’t, go to Zoho Mail to check it out!

    @baruahrupakCurrently, adding files to shared workspace is not possible. Hence shared workspaces are not listed in the “Add to Docs” dialog. Will provide this asap.
