Activating Pulse in Zoho CRM

Enable/Disable Pulse for Users

By default, the Pulse feature is available for all the users. Administrators of your Zoho CRM account can disable/enable the profile permission to access the Pulse feature.

Note

  • The Follow and Unfollow (opt-out) buttons will be available in records only when the Pulse feature is enabled for users of a profile.
  • You will be able to view the updates of only those records that are accessible to you and followed by you.
  • The Profiles link will be available under Setup, only if you have more than one user in your Zoho CRM account.

To enable/disable Pulse for users

  1. Log in to Zoho CRM with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Setup > Users & Permissions > Profiles.
  3. Select the profile to enable/disable permission for the Pulse tab.
  4. In the Profile page, click Edit.
    • Select the Pulse check box under Module-level Permissions to enable the feature.
    • Clear the Pulse check box under Module-level Permissions to disable the feature.

  5. Click Save.
    If you do not want this feature in your Organization's CRM account, you can hide the tab. See Also Organize Tabs

Hide or Show Pulse Tab

You can show or hide the Pulse tab in your organization's CRM account using the Organize Tabs feature. Irrespective of the profiles, hidden modules will not be displayed to any user.

To show or hide Pulse tab

  1. Log in to Zoho CRM with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Setup > Customization > Tabs > Organize Tabs.

  3. In the Organize Tabs section, use the horizontal arrows to move the tabs from the Unselected Tabs list to the Selected Tabs list and vice versa.
  4. Click Save.
