Contactology Integrates with Zoho CRM

When we rolled out our APIs for Zoho CRM, we were looking for some interesting integrations between Zoho CRM and external applications. Well, we are excited to talk about a new integration between Zoho CRM and an Online Email Marketing application from Contactology.

Contactology is an online email marketing application that lets you send and track emails, newsletters etc.
Today, they are announcing a new import driver for Zoho CRM. This means, you’ll now be able to automatically export leads and contacts from Zoho CRM to Contactology’s email marketing app with just a few clicks – without having to manually export and import between
applications. Once the info is in their system, you can send out emails/newsletters from their application.

Contactology built this import driver to meet their own needs. They use Zoho CRM internally and wanted an automated way to import contacts from Zoho CRM to their application. This driver is now available for everyone. To see how this import driver works, take a look at the video here.

We’d like to thank the Contactology team for integrating Zoho CRM. Here is a list of our other API Partners.

      @Lane,
We’ve been getting great feedback from current and would-be Zoho users looking for a 360 integration. We’re applying resources to this, and will update the conversation after the holidays.

Seems a few months since we came to this part of the board and I wanted to give you all an update as we have launched our bi-directional Sync Apps for Constant Contact.

Available now & coming soon are Highrise CRM, NetSuite and this month we are rolling out Zoho CRM.

I will post our link here once it is finished with QA this week.

Does any web-based CRM have an email app with a 3rd party vendor (e.g. Contactology, Vertical Response, etc.) have two-way syncing?

The only solution that I’ve found so far is Salesforce Professional ($65/month) + Boomerang BlastWizard.

I am also looking for the response to Tim, Allan
and Rob’s questions. Is there two way
synchronization with the email marketing? It is
important to keep the ‘unsubscribe’ requests in
sync along with bounced email addresses.

It would be good to also have the ability to log
in CRM what contacts/leads were sent what
marketing campaigns. How do you recommend that
      this be accomplished?

      Thanks,
      Krist

    8. I use Contactology & Zoho CRM. It works great for adding contacts to Contactology.

I’d like to be able to go the other way, and update leads which either bounce back or unsubscribe. Any ideas?

Great question Tim. I’d love to know too. I love Zoho but we are struggling to find a way to combine Zoho with real marketing automation (which Zoho does not provide…yet).

    10. If someone unsubscribes within ContactOlogy – will that update and note it within zoho (zoho has its own “opt-out” boolean form field within the leads section)?

Also, if someone double-opts in, can I have that check a box within zoho?

Basically, is the API a two way street, or only a way to import to Contactology?

      Thanks,

      Tim Mc

This is great! My company sells desiccant bags.I have been using Zoho Crm for about 6 months now and I love it. I am currently using using Constant Contact for email marketing up until this point. I will have to check out contactology.

Hi RP – it’s REALLY close to automatic. You would need to refresh with the import driver, but it’s as simple as putting in your username / password and hitting import. I think the way you have things tagged would work well with our system. We’d need to chat a little bit to make sure. Will Elliott in our office is handling our zoho acccounts. He can be reached directly by calling 1-866-363-0670 x 104.

    14. Can you synchronize between contactology and zoho? I currently use Constant Contact for my direct to consumer mails, and Zoho for my B2B mails. I’d like to integrate the two, for obvious reasons, but would only want to do it if everything remained automatically synchronized between Contactology and Zoho. To classify my B2B I’ve added a “tagging” field, basically to “tag” any contact as one relevant to a particular kind of list or mailing. Conceivably that field could be transposed to another field that distinguishes individual lists.

      Thanks for taking a stab.
