3. How do I get started with Zoho BugTracker? top

If you click the Get Started Now link you will be redirected to a Sign up page. Here you need to fill in some basic information like e-mail address, name and create your Zoho Bug Tracker account.

4. What browsers does Zoho BugTracker support?top

Zoho Bug Tracker supports different browsers and versions like

1. Firefox ( version 2.0 and above)
2. IE (version 7 and above)
3. Safari (Version 4.0 and above)
4. Chrome (Version 3.0 and above)

5. What languages is Zoho BugTracker available in? top

Zoho BugTracker supports 16 different languages like Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English(US), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

6. How can I change the Portal URL?top

The Portal administrator is the only person who can change the portal url.

To change the Portal URL :

  1. Go to Settings tab and this opens up General Settings (by default)
  2. Click Company Profile link from the menu
  3. Click Portal URL Change option link
  4. Type in the URL you like to have for your portal
  5. Click Change the Portal URL button

This updates the new portal url.

Note: No special characters allowed in portal URL

7. Is it possible to have multiple administrators for a project? top

Yes. There can be multiple administrators for a project.

1. To add a new user as Admin

  1. Go to All Users tab
  2. In Company Users section, click Add User option
  3. Type-in the user's email id and select the user role as Admin
  4. Click Add User button

2. To update an existing user's role as Admin

  1. Go to All Users tab
  2. In Company Users section, mouse over the user's email id
  3. Click Edit option and select Admin role
  4. Click Update User Profile button

8. Do the archived projects count against my number of projects for billing purposes? top

Only the Active projects in a portal are taken into account for the total allowed projects and not the archived projects.

9. How to change my e-mail address in Zoho BugTracker? top

To change the email address :

  1. Login into http://accounts.zoho.com
  2. Click Email Address option
  3. Click Edit button and update your email id

10. Can I change the portal owner in Zoho BugTracker? top

Yes. You need to be an portal administrator to change the portal owner.

To change the portal owner :

  1. Go to Settings Tab
  2. Click Company Profile Tab
  3. Click Portal Owner Change link
  4. Select the New Portal Owner
  5. Click Change Portal Owner button

This updates the new portal owner.

11. I was invited to join a portal but could not find the invite mail? top

The invite mail is a system generated mail sent from Zoho BugTracker along with username and password. Sometimes this mail would have landed in your SPAM folder . Hence we request you to check your SPAM folder for the invite mail

12. I got an invite mail but project portal denies access for me? top

The portal owner who invited you to their portal would have forgot to add you as part of their project hence access is denied for you. To get an access, you need to request your portal owner to add you as a member in their project.
